Chet Walker

Chet's long bio of Broadway performance and choreography credits place him among a full gamut of musical theater's greatest hits. Best known for his creation of the Tony-Award-winning musical Fosse, Chet's brings his vast experience in the field of dance to the School at Jacob's Pillow leading the Jazz Program as Director. He travels worldwide to audition young dancers for the program, establishing scholarships for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. During the three weeks of the jazz program the long, hot afternoons are made easier by the lush sounds of Chet's jazz music emanating from the studio as he teaches class. His voice carries throughout the festival grounds, and in truth he has absolutely no need for a megaphone.
